Dolfor is a no smoking, no pets chalet. We do accept guide dogs and hearing dogs by arrangement but may make a charge.

 

The Chalet is provided with everything you could need for your stay, we have listed below key facilities and amenities together with an overview of activities and some highlights of the area for your information.

Bathroom

The bathroom is fitted with a shower unit, wash basin, toilet, heated towel rail and electric shaving point.

Bird watching

Anglesey has a wonderful range of bird life. South Stack is noted for its sea birds and the rare Chough. RSPB reserve at Caemes Bay is a short drive away
 

20 mins drive from the port and station in Holyhead

Bedroom is carpeted. The living area is a wooden floor with carpet.

Clothes dryer

There is a clothes line for a zero carbon footprint drying and a tumble dryer.

Boating/sailing

Small boats can be launched for the local beaches. A large tidal reach makes it is advisable to check with tide tables.

20 mins walk to the Anglesey Coastal Path

Bodnant Gardens to the north after the Menai Bridge and Port Merion to the south are two places not to be missed.

Washing machine in the fitted kitchen and a tumble dryer is handy, iron supplied, ironing board available on request

There are stables locally

Conway, Caernarfon and Bodelwyddan castles are just along the mainland coast.

National Trust properties on Anglesey are Plas Newydd and Penrhyn Castle

Ample parking for 2 cars and boat

Housekeeping

There is no maid service. Towels and linen are changed weekly. There will be a midweek clean of bathroom and kitchen area.

Walks

Several walks in the surrounding area without the need to drive. Longer coastal walks can be made using the bus which stops at the top of the drive. Walking in Snowdonia is a short drive away.
